Oscar S. Garcia, Chairman of InterFlight Global Corporation, recently
attended the installation of Timothy M. Ravich as the 92nd President
of the Dade County Bar Association ("DCBA") (www.dadecountybar.org).
Established in 1920, the DCBA is the largest voluntary bar association
in the State of Florida. Mr. Garcia was an invited guest of the
Association, which launched an initiative to reach out to the South
Florida Business Community through its "Business Outreach"
committee. "Oscar's business acumen and commitment to South
Florida are second-to-none," Ravich said. "Oscar and I
frequently discuss the tremendous aviation and aerospace opportunities
for South Florida, and it was important for our Association to reach
out to business leaders such as him as we promote Miami as a city
of global reach in the legal-business arena," Ravich also said.
Ravich, who earned his M.B.A. in Aviation Policy and Planning from
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, teaches Aviation Law at the
University of Miami School of Law, and is a commercial litigator
with the law firm of Clarke Silverglate & Campbell, P.A., (csclawfirm.com)
focusing on aviation law, commercial and business litigation, and
products liability.
Oscar Garcia
stated: “Tim is not only an extraordinary Aerospace attorney, he
is also my fellow Embry-Riddle MBA, talented business man and aerospace
community leader. I am proud to have been invited to this memorable
event. I share with Tim a common vision to make Florida and Dade
County the leading aviation and aerospace venues in the world. I
wish Tim all the best in his new role and he has my unconditional
support."
